Brilliant bamboo house?

Honestly we do not think that it is a brilliant idea to expose load carrying bamboo structures to the weather. However some architects like Milan-based Studio Cardenas still fail in designing bamboo constructions as you can see here:

We also think that the joining technique is not suitable to take advantage of the high strength of the bamboo poles.
